To see what consultation has been carried out to date, you can take a look at our timeline (here). We will continue to engage with our tenants whilst the application is live so please check for updates either via posters at the Estate or on this website.

Consultation events

February 2018

We held a residents event on 8th February to update residents on the appeal process. We also held two separate consultation events on the 17th and 19th February for interested parties to speak to consultants and give their feedback.

Our consultation closed on 5th March but you can view all the materials from the exhibitions (here).

Residents can also speak to Alecia or Natalie in the Estate Office every Thursday from 10am – 2pm.

January 2015

We held a second series of consultation events in January 2015 to show how the proposals have progressed since our initial consultation as a result of the feedback we received from tenants, local residents and stakeholders.

A dedicated tenants' event was held at the Estate on 22 January, followed by two public events on 24 January and 27 January.

At each event, we presented:

  • Display boards containing key information about the proposals
  • A 'Design Hub' - ran by the architects who displayed plans and drawings of the proposed Estate (here)
  • An interactive screen which offered attendees the opportunity to take a virtual tour around the Estate and inside the new social properties

June 2014

In June 2014, we held three consultation events to share our proposals for the regeneration of the Sutton Estate. Our aim was to gather feedback on the proposals from tenants, local residents and stakeholders, which would be reviewed and incorporated, where possible, into the updated plans (presented in January 2015).

Each event consisted of:

  • Five display boards containing information about the proposals (here)
  • An interactive screen which offered attendees the opportunity to take a virtual tour around the Estate

Members of the project team were also on hand to talk attendees through the proposals. Feedback forms were provided and attendees could either fill them in at the event or take them home to send back to our project Freepost address.
